Aside from a few social media posts and a track released eight months ago with Khalid (you could count its remixes, too), Alina Baraz has kept things pretty low-key. We still don't have much of an idea of what kind of person she is outside of her music, but that is likely going to change, because she's about to embark on tour as the main support for Coldplay, which shall be a revealing affair. Alongside the big announcement of Alina's comes two brand-new tracks in "Buzzin" and "Lavender and Velvet", and, unsurprisingly, they're both great and far and above our expectations for the style of music. As a result, you should give the cuts multiple spins, and you should try to see her live, too.
