While we've posted a bit about Alex Wiley before, we've never been able to highlight himself exclusively, nor any of his non-collaborative efforts, that is, until today. The Windy City emcee has been around for some time, and though he sounds extremely similar to Chance The Rapper (especially on this effort here), if you think he's biting Chance, do yourself a favor and eliminate that thought, because there's much to be had with this on-the-rise talent. Alex has released one collaborative EP, Can I Borrow A Dollar?, with Kembe X in 2012, and last year, he released his first full-length mixtape, Club Wiley. Now in 2014, Alex will be releasing his sophomore project, Village Party, that's being led by the first single, "Own Man", as well as the latest single we're championing today: the Hippie Sabotage-produced "Vibration". So while this is the first time we've covered Alex Wiley on his own accord, based on what we're seeing with "Vibration", you can expect us to be keeping tabs on the rapper from here on out.
