Today, Swedish artist Alessandra has demonstrated the perfect way to make a first impression, and she's done so with her debut track, "Your River". The moving, powerful piece of pop is rooted in folk-like instrumentation (percussive slaps, acoustic guitar, and piano chords comprise the foundation of the track), and some added electronic elements are incorporated seamlessly as well. Despite the song's excellent production, though, it's her captivating, heartfelt vocal that's the centerpiece here. So, while she's already somewhat credentialed, with this new single here, she's proving exactly why.
