Sometimes we are guilty for using the genre descriptive of 'chillwave' a little too freely, but today when we use this to describe the Stockholm duo, Alchem, we really do mean it. In fact we might have to create a new genre description for these guys because their production is truly off-planet. If you took an immensely powerful psychedelic drug, bottled it into a tiny compressed amount, shot it through your veins in high doses, and proceeded to record music, this is what it would sound like. It's a vast & all-encompassing ambience that comes complete with a galaxy full of mindblowing synth experiences that place you into a world that is neither here nor there. Needless to say this music is a head trip. Oh and by the way, make sure you play this extra loud because the low end in these songs is goosebump worthy.
