Since Akouo's breakthrough Above & Beyond EP, it's been nothing but a steady rise for the Tasmanian producer. Of course, since then, there have been many remixes to keep us going, but now it's time for him to saddle back up and drop some freshly original material on us. That new body of work will come in the form of the new EP, Mesa, that's slated for release on the Perth-based imprint DIE HIGH RECORDS, and leading off the EP is the first track released from it, "Last Time". Using his iconic ebb and flow synths, Akouo jars the energy back and forth on "Last Time" in a creative fashion whilst pulling the vocal sample along for a helluva ride.
