We've been treated to several remixes and originals from Tasmanian talent Akouo over the past few years, and today, he kicks off his own new year campaign with an Ashibah-assisted piece titled "Giving Into You". Akouo requires little to no introduction in terms of his sound, as his percussion-filled style continues to excel, and on "Giving Into You"—with upright keys and bass-fueled hooks—he keeps it afloat. Copenhagen-based singer Ashibah's role is key here, too, as she glides her vocals through the buoyant cadence he provides, and, together they're able to create a shiny, spicy effort that should get decent play. "Giving Into You" is plucked from alaya.'s third compilation, which also features music from other producers featured before, and, as it seems to be the first of many more singles to come from the guy, we're going to be on the lookout in the coming weeks ahead.
