Two month-old "Birds" by Canadian duo aiwake is still fresh in our minds, and, while we couldn't quite pinpoint what direction their style was headed in, we're given a clearer idea today with their second impressive (and largely appealing) original track, "Childish". From their leisurely paced cadences, to their scattered, dream-like vocals, aiwake hoists a pristine brand of electronic we're certainly on board for here, and, as the piece progresses, break-filled, pitched hooks prop up an even more alluring (and varied) listen overall. There's little doubt the Toronto-based pair has more quality indie-electronic in the vault, considering "Childish" is technically the very first piece they put together, and, as that's the case, we encourage you to dive into their new track and also check out their debut above if you haven't already.
