I'm going to go out on a limb and say that you, the reader, haven't heard of any of these producers until now, save for maybe the last listed, the production duo, BiirdxLahgost, who happened to make it onto a YEL of ours. (I'm hoping that that introduction didn't sound too pretentious; I mean, I was right, though, wasn't I?) Anyway, the "On Swim" instrumental offered by the Toronto producers is absolutely alluring, and each individual involved with the effort has now found a home in our focus as a result. There's a fluid atmosphere inflicted from the very beginning of the track, a kind easily attracting all ears that come across it, and soon after the smoothness is identified and admired, some excellently selected drums are employed to build a small but necessary amount of raw tonality to complement what occasionally rumbling bass and gurgling synths follow. The latter adjective is an unusual one to use, I'll admit, but the nature of the synths are unusual in and of themselves. They really do a wonderful job supplying the track with exotic vibes, and because of them, we had to illuminate the track.
