Over the past few years Adventure Club have been making a name for themselves in the EDM world with their particular brand of melodic dubstep. The Canadian duo has been steadily releasing mixes, remixes and original productions proving that they can wobble with the best of them. However, it seems that they are looking to diversify their sound with the upcoming release of their debut EP "Calling All Superheroes - Pt. 1" The standout song "Wonder" sees the boys teaming up with an exciting new artist out of Australia, The Kite String Tangle. The introduction ebbs and flows into an elegant vocal track, and as the familiar swelling synth rises into the foreground you would be forgiven for expecting a transformation into a colossal bass anthem. Instead, "Wonder" retreats back into itself in a surprising display of restraint. What we are left with is an atmospheric house tune that is somewhat unexpected yet completely satisfying.
