Poozer's remix of "It Means Shadow" is a little more out of left field than normal, but right now, the breath of fresh air is exactly what we were looking for. Despite the unorthodox structure, Poozer makes it decidedly apparent that he's in the business of making upbeat tunes. It's a superbly finished remix he constructs, and sunny vibes are so prominently featured in some sections of the track that one can't but help pick out some similarities with the tropical house reworks that have invaded the internet as of late. However, instead of settling into a comfortable melody or repetitive beat, Poozer starts to wade into deeper waters where predictable drops and mundane builds are nowhere to be found. Adelyn Roses' vocals are sampled on multiple occasions in ways we've never heard before, too, but Poozer manages to make everything feel natural, and when everything falls into place throughout, you're greeted with a track that's not only a great listen, but thoroughly deserving of its designated "experimental electronic" tag.
