The first original release from Abi Ocia, “Running”, had us glowing in adoration of the up-and-coming London songstress, and, as we had expected before, her today-released second track, “Konfyt” leaves us feeling much the same. The acoustic guitar that leads it nurtures some serious campfire vibes, and, as the track gets going, a dampened, piano-infused flavor of her R&B-tinged sound takes form. We’re not entirely sure yet if the pair of releases Ocia has are summing to a forthcoming project, but we sure hope they are, because, at this point, it seems as if there’s much more brilliant music from her to come.
