Aaron Taos has experimented with his music, and it's made him hard to pinpoint as a particular artist (not that he has to be at all). His previous string of songs from “These Days” to “Bangs” have been a scattershot when it comes to residing in any one particular genre, and his brand-new release, “Alone”, is no different. Featuring a verse from Orlando rapper Shane Stokes, “Alone” creates a niche all to itself, complete with dreamy guitar riffs and congruent hi-hat rolls to create a sound unlike all else. It’s almost like existential surf-pop with a hip-hop edge, and it's worthy of your time, for sure.
