In the world of electronic music, there's an invisible division of taste that exists. Go over the top with your synth arrangements, and the end result will sound muddy, annoying, or just downright awful. Go too minimal, and you will have some people falling asleep on the keyboards. Hit the right angle, though, and you'll achieve the best of both worlds while having everyone drooling over your work. A W E's "Crystals" obviously doesn't touch the minimal spectrum, but what it does great is the way it incorporates so much without it ever sounding overbearing. "Crystals" is engaging & full of energy, and yet, it doesn't make you immediately change the track, and that's what you call a winning track in the particular genre.
