Back to follow up his lauded debut, "Beautiful Criminal", is Scottish vocalist A-L-X, who's taking the no-letdown approach with his latest track, "Allure". On it, he takes the more upbeat path, expanding on the previous downtempo sounds of his first offering; and, over skittering drums, warm, looping pads, and accentual guitars and strings, we find his sound taking another step in its plan to push past the status quo. "Allure" is only the second track we've seen from A-L-X, but already, the potential is starting to be enormous, so we advise you keep your eye on the guy. There's no doubt that more amazing music is to come from him.
