Known for his stellar THURL mixtape that dropped earlier this year, the SF-based emcee, A-1, has been known to rap a few bars or two over choice beats from some of the best producers in music today. Of course, they're not beats that were made for A-1 specifically, but that's not the point. The point here is that A-1 obviously has good taste in music, and he knows how to accommodate each beat with his own introspective take on them. Today for NYE, we find A-1 looking forward to 2014 as he raps over one of Mr. Carmack's latest beats, "Ryukushima". In addition to his rapping that we've already become fans of, A-1 also shows us here that he can craft a catchy chorus as well. So before your day gets hectic as you prepare for all the festivities inherent to it, let A-1 calm things down a bit.
