A-1 has made a name for himself over the past few years with his superb reworks of electronic tracks. From his sampling of Flosstradamus, Mr. Carmack, and Ryan Hemsworth, it's not only obvious that the guy has a good ear for beats, but as we've noted time and time again, the guy is very talented with his rapping cadences as well. Where most would not even bother trying to warp their voices over complex production like that on Chrome Sparks's "Marijuana", A-1 not only finds a way to put his own spin on the tracks, but they always come out flawless, too. And as we find out here with "Mind Right", we even see the Bay Area rapper tossing in a harmonious chorus that you didn't think would be possible prior to hearing this. It's a real interesting, impressive effort overall, and one you'll want to make sure to check out, definitely.
