Just today, we've received ample evidence that Toronto's music scene is alive and well by means of a new electronic-soul piece from 2nd Son and a l l i e. Both artists reside in the aforementioned city, and whether it be from the similar environment or not, they have an unmistakable chemistry on their new collaboration, "All For You". A good listen to the track reveals clearly the extensive work and thought that 2nd Son put into the instrumental—one filled with complex percussive patterns and plenty of synth layers. The effort ranges from being fresh and danceable to dark and obscure, but a l l i e's R&B-adorned croon ties the whole piece together beautifully. "All For You" is the lead single from 2nd Son's debut EP, First Light, which you can download now over on Bandcamp.
