By now, we’ve made it quite apparent that 20syl is a beatmaker that we can’t get enough of, so whether it be a new track, bootleg, edit, or video, we will pay our full attention to the Parisian’s efforts. "Kodoma" is one of the five pieces from the man's most recent Motifs EP, and now we have the opportunity to experience the piece in its entirety courtesy of the official clip that illustrates every element of the concoction (including a cheeky knit at 2:36). There isn’t any sort of clever insight needed to comprehend this video, as robotic hands play the host of elements embedded in the track. The sets of hands play the ever-changing piece in pristine fashion throughout, occasionally switching over in sync to the beat, giving the video an expressive flow. A couple sets of hands always seem to be up to something undemanding, whether that includes knitting, digging for smarties, or even solving a rubik's cube at one point. The only time we do get a peek of 20syl is during his snooze period (about midway through, where he still seems to be evolving the piece); and as soon as you catch a glimpse of his eyeballs, the video bursts into the second drop that implements further instrumentation and a couple more cheeky inclusions. The track ends with the soothing vocal cuts that are no doubt embedded in your head by now, and as the final view zooms out, you eventually get to see every component incorporated in the wonderful production.
